Terms of Use
Last updated 15 September 2026. By using Hifza you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to hide anything.
What the service is
Hifza is a free study tool for memorising the Qur'an. It shows the text, plays recitations, listens to yours and schedules your review.
It is not religious education, not religious authority, and not a substitute for learning with a qualified teacher.
Your account
You need an account so that your progress can be saved. Sign in with Google or with your phone number.
Keep access to your account to yourself. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe someone else has got into it.
You may delete your account at any time by writing to us.
How you may use it
Use the app for your own study, and for helping others study.
Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service.
Do not copy the app's material out in bulk for redistribution as your own.
Do not use the AI teacher to generate material unrelated to recitation.
About the text
The Qur'anic text and the recitations come from the sources listed on our sources page, and are presented unaltered.
The Cyrillic transliteration was produced by us in software. It is an aid to reading, nothing more. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it.
About the AI teacher
The teacher checks pronunciation. That is all it does.
It can be wrong. Its score is not a judgement of your recitation before God, and its words are not religious evidence.
It does not answer questions of law, ruling or belief, and will point you to a qualified scholar instead.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of errors or always available.
We do not promise that memorisation will succeed — that depends on you.
Where the law allows us to limit our liability, we limit it to what you have paid us, which is nothing.
Changes and ending
We may change or stop features, and we will give notice on the site when a change matters.
We may close an account that is used to attack the service or to harm others.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
